Look closely at "IN GOD WE TRUST"

My friends and I agree it's got to be a pressing error,
Any thoughts?

It's to flat and misshapen next to the letters that have held their shape , agreed?

Ztcalder_
It is only an error if it happened during the striking of the coin so ask yourself,
how could this possibly have happened at that time.
The striking die didn't all of a sudden turn a T into a Y.
It happened sometime after the coin was struck so it is just damage. Worth 1 Cent.

Medal was probably lightly pushed on the rim, then was worn down over the years making the "t" look like a "y". I have seen this happen before, unfortunately only worth about 2¢.

I'm sorry, but it's not an error. That's just circulation flattening on "IGWT". It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

Looks like a combination of Die Deterioration and post mint damage. Not an error.
