In my 1939 d quarter the year is only showing about the top half. The rest of the letters on both sides have parts not showing also. Looking for what the error is called and if it adds any value. Also if you notice any other error please inform me. With all your replies/comments this forum teaches me just as much as searching the infinite web. Any opinions on value of this coin? Thank you very much! I apologize if pictures aren't great. Still working on the free optimized link. Main concern is the letters and date blend with edge.

to CCF. Don't think it is an error. Looks like circulation wear or maybe a Dryer Coin? What does the edge look like? As to value,at least silver value.

Not an error. Just a heavily circulated and worn Quarter.
