I found this 1976 P LMC that may very well be a DDO. It matches the thickness of the DDO-001. Insight please.

Nope, it doesn't match. Yours doesn't have the extra thick pointy ends, on the devices.

Oof, this is a DDO. looks like about two years too late, but I was just searching the forum trying to find information on attribution for a similar DDO. The extra thickness on the bars of the E in WE and the little "bite" taken out of the bottom of the I in LIBERTY by the foot of the L are both dead giveaways for this type of class 6 doubling. This is a pretty good one, too. Looks like DDO-001. Anyway, too bad to see a decent DDO thrown back.

Maybe WDDO-002?

Note on the "WE" image, the lower left 'W' shows a distortion on that area of the 'W' on the WDDO-002?

Hehe of course

It is kind of odd that the most significant DDO for this date isn't listed at all on varietyvista - WDDO-001 is a pretty great die, so I'm surprised Dr. Wiles has DDO-001/WDDO-002 but not that one in his files.

The reason is that no one submitted him an example of it to add to his files. Someday someone will and they it will probably be DDO-002. That is the reason it hasn't been listed yet.
