The Dimes are common dates & mints . Good for a Mercury dime starter set . Not to familiar with the date on the 3 cent piece ,but it is well circulated and a details coin .

The 3 cent piece is circulated, but would get a "details" (problem) grade due to the large glob of debris on the obvers.

The Mercury dimes range in grade from about F-12 to VF-20. Some would be graded "details" due to graffiti and others would "straight grade."

Agree, the 3 cent piece is a details coin and the Mercs are basically worth bullion prices.

I apologize for not cropping the pictures before I posted them. It won't happen again.
Thank yall for taking time out of yalls day to grade my coins. :-) the spot on the 3 cent nickel looks like rust? I didnt know they would rust. I guess that is a crazy thing for me not to know. The Mercury dimes were a surprise to me, because I didnt think they would be that well taken care of. The ones I have seen before I purchased these little gems were all worn down where the dates were illegible. Again thank yall for grading my coins!

That is corrosion on the 3 cent piece.

As for the Mercury dimes, well, they're just common circulated Mercs worth bullion (silver content) value. Personally, I think these were just average condition dimes, as I have several high MS graded examples - but it's each person's definition of what 'well-taken care of' means!

Welcome!

There's a chance the 'glob' will vanish with a good soak in acetone.

Before you do this, search here for threads re 'acetone', for safety's sake.
