I use a Canon 70D, primary lenses are Canon EFS 18-35mm and a Tokina Macro 100 F2.8 for coin photography. My question is do I need to do a white balance for each lens? On occasion I see a definite yellow hue on the Canon lens, with no change to lighting setup, and the Tonika looks fine.
Each lens may impart a different hue so you need to white balance after changing. You can always shoot on a gray background and then white balance after the shot it taken. This would compensate for lighting variation as well.
