The mm looks like it's on stepping stones. If you look at the southern edge you can see multiple steps. I can't find it listed anywhere and I hope that it is a new rpm.

Your mint mark is not an RPM, it is a good example of a deteriorated die, showing MD, that's why you are seeing multiple layers.Good eye

Shearing MD, shaved it as the die settled instead of bouncing noticeably.

It's Machine Doubling ( Strike Doubling). You can see the metal striations, from the devices being reduced in size. This doubling only happens during the strike.
