Hello

I have a Peter Rabbit coin of 2016 ( 50 p)
Upon testing I saw that it was sold between 300 and 6000 pounds
What is the value of the coin? What are the differences?

regard

gadi

I don't know, but maybe the colorized proof is the rare version?

Yup the 2016 Colourised Silver proof 15,000 mintage is the so called rare coin. But as normal fake news and hysteria has made a white elephant of this 50 pence. You can choose nearly all these types of coins as far as you can go back and see the difference from what they initially sold for to the actual value. Don't trust all ebay figures as the criminal section create a false market with coins appearing to sell for a certain price when they never really sold at all. Vastly overpriced and prices continue to drop Initial release price was £65 I see no reason they are any higher. More understandable if there were no coins for the year as a circulation strike and it would be the only way collectors could source the coin. But the long answer is unless it's the 15,000 colourised silver proof edition it's worth 50p or however much an idiot is willing to pay for it :)
