The weight is supposed to be 5.0 grams. Although, I'm thinking that your coin was altered. Maybe dipped in acid? The surfaces are rough and grainy, like an acid dipped coin would be.

Acid, unlike heat, would affect the coins's weight, so this makes sense.

Also due to tolearnces a nickel can weigh as low as 4.8 grams new. And this coin does apper to have been in a corrosive environment.
