1992 D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Wdoubled Die Obverse / DDO -001 Or A New Listing? Insight Please.

Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5240 Posts	Posted 10/09/2018 09:03 am I have had this 1992 D LMC for quite some time and decided to reevaluate it. There is a DDO listed on Mr. Wexler's site and it matches in some aspects. The first time I looked at it through a loupe it looked thicker than normal. I see a TON OF DENVER CENTS due to where I live geographically. This is the only one that I have seen in hand with this type of thickness. I have looked at a lot of 1992 D's with completely flat thick letters due to grease. Even the WDDO on Mr. Wexler's site appears to have completely flattened devices. This cent is different, especially the word TRUST. They are all thicker and the tops of the T's in TRUST are taller than on a normal cent. The entire word TRUST is thicker than any normal cent I have held in hand. Insight please. Edited by Jim0815 10/09/2018 09:23 am Report this Post to the Staff
