Agree with Spence. Its been plated and encapsulated in a piece of jewellery. Not an error, just PMD.

I have not lost hope though since the collection I bought for a hundred$ had close to a 1000 coins and will keep me busy for months. Thanks guys for your help. I am very grateful to the coin community! This site is awesome

After you remove the bezel, it may be a good Pocket Piece for removing the rest of that silly gold-plating.
