Currently I search nickels and pennies. I did three boxes of dimes awhile back, but only found one silver.

So..., is it worth searching dime boxes?

It's all luck. I do dimes but I'll get stunked for 2 boxes then get 6 silvers in one. So give it a try

it all depends on what your time is worth, If it is just for fun and you have lots of spare time, then Yes go for it.. Otherwise if you are in it to make money, you will not pay for your time, to search and rewrap..

It depends on what you're looking for and how much free time you've got.

Personally, I primarily buy dimes to search for 2009 dated coins... and if I find silver or proofs, I consider that a bonus. And if I do happen to find a good number of silver coins from one bank's batch, I will go back there ASAP.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Worth what, the time? No. Profit? No. Is coin roll hunting any type of coin worth it? Probably, not.
Is it fun? Maybe, for some. Interesting? Maybe, for some.

We could probably ask the same about the game of golf, metal detecting, boating, hunting, needlepoint...etc if you catch my drift.

I see you've searched three boxes. That's not enough volume to give any kind of an idea. Report back please, after you've gone through at least fifty.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...
Roll hunting since '77
