I agree that it is at least a half-floating roof. @S00, what else are you seeing?

Hi john Look at the states underneath letters and I think a number then look st the unum next to it numbers there 1969 s

I see the number looking mark next to UNUM... but I am thinking it is just one of those illusionary type PMD marks. Your brain always wants to make sense of things... I agree it does look like numbers ;) But just a strange coincidence. :) If it were a mint error... you would have to explain it. And I am pretty sure no mint error that I can think of would accomplish that.

Like I stated on the other thread you have for the same coin, unless the 5 you are seeing is either raised or incuse, then it has to be caused by a stain or toning. " Pareidolia"
