@otis18, first welcome to CCF. Second, perhaps you are right--I think that a better close-up pic might help. In the meantime, have you looked here to try to figure which one it might be based on the various die markers? Here is a great link to get you started:

Hard to tell Otis - looks like you have a "Plugable" scope?. Put the scope closer to the coin and give us a better close-up of the Mint Mark. Will be able to tell you better information that way!!

Nice, clear pics by the way!

Thanks Mark1959 and Spence for your prompt reply. Yes it's a plugable camera and I put it on top of the coin for the attached photo.

Yes that is a better pic, but the mm is still kinda inconclusive in my mind when I blow it up. Sorry that I can't be more helpful.

Nice pic - looks good. But in the meantime - I never knew this but if you push the scope right down onto the coin and hold it there with one hand while moving the focus wheel all the way to the right with the other hand you can get up to 200X mag. Just keep moving the focus wheel to the right and BOOM , soon you will have 200X mag. It takes a little getting used to but this is how the pic will finally come out. It takes a little while to practice but here's the result: OH, PS: this is my picture, not yours blown up.

Cool Deal! BUT - too bad it really doesn't show an RPM! Sorry! It looks more like some perfectly placed damage - but I'll send you a link - check it out!
