I'd go about 62/63 on this one. If it was in my possession, it would go straight into acetone ASAP.

I really like the toning, so I want to make sure the acetone wont change the look of the obverse. How long would you recommend leaving it in acetone? And thanks for both of your replies:)

I was a little wary of the crud on top of the obverse and the spotting on rev, thinking those may cause corrosion if not removed. I can't say how acetone would affect the toning. I would wait for someone with more experience with toned coins to offer opinion.

With MS-62/63 , but I think I would use Verdi-Care instead of acetone . I happen to like the color of the obverse .

The obverse picture is a little out of focus, but I am leaning towards AU-58. It looks like the high points on the Obverse have rub marks.

In this case I agree Verdi Care would be ideal since the obverse coloring might blend well with possible after effects of ED removal. If it comes clean, given the obverse, it's got a shot at 64RB.

The reverse looks like two areas on the wheat stalks were somehow protected by some covering?
