Does anyone know some good books or websites that talk about how the secret service dealt with counterfeit coins, specifically from the 1860's to the late 1890's? Like what did they do with them? Destroy them, mark them, etc.
Rest in Peace

Dunno of books, but they would destroy them after they were used as evidence.
