I did John1, nothing there at all. I just rarely get a chance to see one in this shape to know what I'm looking at. Not yet at least.

The 1944 DDO's are easy to spot on the class 6 doubled dies, but there is also an issue that year with master die doubling:   So your coin appears normal for this year from what I can see. (unless I'm missing something?)

Jim, still though, you scored on a very nice Wheat cent in excellent condition! It's definitely worth saving!

Yep, I've never spent a wheat. I don't care if It is an acid cull or what it's worth keeping to me.
