What do you guys think about this? If it really is what I think it is and looks to be then it's definitely off to grading. I've seen the few double struck collar dollars that have been found go for quite a bit at auction... But I haven't seen an S mm before. I believe this one had a xlupke of die cracks. I can't remember which VAM I found it to be.

Anyways, would appreciate any time given for feedback and info anyone would like to share regarding this coin or anything related to the same error but for P & D mm (I may actually have a few of these with different mm's.. no lie)

Looks normal to me at first glance. Could you describe what makes you think it's an error.

to the CCF!

Yeh the doubling on only a partial part of the collar... You can see where it's a single row and then becomes two rows and back to one

I'm not seeing a double strike but the photos aren't the best. That said, 1921 of all mints is WELL known to have a high preponderance of thick & wide die bounce (MD) doubling.

Apparent doubling of the denticles is common on 1921 morgans, and does not automatically point to a double struck coin.
