1996 D JFK Half Dollar Edge Error Coin?

Nycstphenh New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 10/17/2018 6:10 pm Hello Sorry but I'm still new to coin collecting and I hope someone on here can help me with this. I have a 1996 D JFK Half Dollar and on the side with JFK's Head the raised up edge is off and it doesn't fully go around. The edge on the reverse side with the eagle is normal. I'm hoping that someone on here can help me figure out if it is a mint defect and if it is worth any money above face value. I will try to attach a photo but my tablet camera is of poor quality. The coin is in better condition then it looks in the picture. The picture does show how the edge runs off the side and doesn't completely go around. If someone on here can please help me figure this out it would be great appreciated. Thank you. I can't seem to figure out how to upload a picture because I'm on my tablet.
