I have been going through buckets of coin that were saved for years. All modern coin. I haven't been able to sell any of them. I'm not sure if they are even worth grading. Could the grading be a big part of my issue or could it be that ebay isn't the best place to sell modern coin that is not graded?

I would never suggest slabbing a coin just for selling purposes unless it is a higher value coin and one that the expense of having a TPG grade it would substaltially increase the value. If that was the case then ebay would not be the best place to sell it anyway.
IMHO the mass number of people buying coins on ebay are fair weather buyers not real collectors and most believe they might get rich quick finding error coins and most don't know enough to realize the value.

Are these coins key dates? Error? Uncirculated/circulated? It may have to do with how much you are selling them for + charging for shipping. If these are regular common date coins, you won't be able to sell them for much.

ebay is a great place for selling coins and collectors of all levels of experience buy coins from there. Maybe you need to start your auctions at 99 cents and let the bidding go up from there.

The answer really depends on what it is. Some moderns are difficult to sell raw others aren't but you won't get graded prices for the raw ones. Condition is even more important with moderns since a couple grades can be the difference with something being an uncommon conditional rarity or worth face value.

It's hard to say without knowing what it is and what condition ect

Error coins, key date but circulated. I'm fairly new to this.

Also, your descriptions and images of the coin for sale matter. Good pictures and an accurate description are needed to sell any coin.

What kind of error coins are these?
