This is called a "dump" a hand hammered lump of copper. Very common in India until the early 20th century. Very hard to ID since I do not read the language.

If you can rephotograph so that we can see all the inscription (play with shadows, contrast), I think that it can be identified.

Yes, a dump coin of India. The two lines across are often characteristic of coins of the Maratha Confederacy. The weight of 20 g indicates a denomination of 2 paisa.
You might want to look through these 14 possibilities with coin in hand to see if you can find a match.
