This one was a bit of a surprise. Sometimes bad photo gambling can be a win. Sometimes not (see my other IHC!)

Seller's pictures were blurry to the point that I could scarcely see the coin, and it didn't take much of a bid to win it ($2.99!)

In-hand, I was pleasantly surprised to find a decent Indian Head cent with most of LIBERTY visible in-hand and -- better yet -- a wicked obverse die clash!

The die clash is most notable below the bust, to the left of the neck, and in the lower headdress feathers to the right.

There is also evidence of some die clash on the reverse, especially near the upper right wreath area and around CENT.

I think it grades a solid VG10. LIBERTY is fully visible in-hand, but weak. The color in-hand is closer to a darker chocolate brown -- the light in here makes it look reddish.

It's the lighting. Color is a deeper dark chocolate brown in reality.
