Hello, everyone! Seeing as though my wife and I now live in Georgia, it is our GREAT pleasure that we can report to you on the 2006 ANA National Money Show. I know it is a bit early to begin this topic, but at least it will give everyone PLENTY of notice as to the date, location, and a few other factors for your planning-ahead pleasures.

On April 7-9, 2006, Atlanta is hosting the ANA Atlanta 2006 National Money Show. It is going to be at:

Cobb Galleria Centre
Two Galleria Parkway
Atlanta, Georgia 30339
(770)955-8000

www.cobbgalleria.com

They are allowing for free parking (thought I'd throw that in since some of the shows charge). The Georgia Numismatic Association and Metropolitan Coin Club of Atlanta are the hosts to this event. While not as large as the FUN show, I'm sure this year's event will be worth a short/medium drive to find one (or more) of the coins ot types of currency that you may be looking for!

If you decide to go, please, let us know. We live about 45 minutes to an hour from the Cobb Galleria Centre and are planning to go as well.

Conveniently situated within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and entertainment, the Cobb Galleria Centre is located in Northwest Atlanta at I-75 and I-285, just 25 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

I have contacted Brenda Bishop with the ANA and am awaiting further details. More information will be posted as we receive it. If you have any questions that you would like for me to ask Mrs. Bishop, please, feel free to post them and I will notify you.

Unfortunately I have chosen this to be one of a few major shows I will not be attending this year. Part of the reason is the location. Seems every time I have gone to Atlanta, I don't have much luck with a smooth, decent trip. I wish everyone well who will be attending.

I'd love to attend, but Atlanta is a little off the beaten path for we who live in New Jersey. I look forward to report of the event, though.
