Ok so I have these two old Japanese banknotes. A 5 Yen and a 10 Yen. Neither one has a serial number. They have Big red block letters stamped across the front and back. Could they be specimen notes of old? Also how do you date them? Ya go ahead and say it take them out to the movies.
These are listed as China Military and are Pick numbers M25 and M27 issued during the Japanese Occupation during WWII They were both issued in 1938, but the 5 Yen, M25, was also issued in 1944.
