Not a break.
Probably not a chip.
My best guess is a damaged die from some sort of debris.

Sorry Sprue, I never got that Milimeter thing down. I know when I used to build patterns from blueprints I had to change all the dimentions to Inches. Multiply MM by .03937 to get inches. (I still remember that)

I would call it a die chip. I don't know of a good way to accurately measure the surface area easily, but it appears a little small to cross that arbitrary 4mm squared threshold.
