Probably looks better in hand (I know mine do), but going by the photos I will say...

Thanks JB

I'm trying to decide between this one and the first one to complete my 32 coin collection book. What do you think?

Looks like the first one has more tone, the second one has more hits. The choice seems to be which attribute you like (or dislike) more.

Going in an album I would probably choose tone, but that is a personal call.

Of course I am going by photos. In hand is often different. Try to chose the one that makes you feel warm and fuzzy.

I am not sure but the areas on jawline of IKE and above the mintmark on neck appear to be rubs from being in circulation for a short time, the rims also show some light dings and wear.
Is this not a proof? Or is it a "Blue Ike" uncirculated silver dollar? If proof, it is impaired and probably PR55 or PR58 in my opinion. If Unc it is AU55 or AU58 maybe?

Not liking the #1 - How bout an acetone soak for that one to see if you can get that crud? I know when I assembled my Ike Dansco, I soaked the silvers that I cut out of the mylar OGP for a few hours a side and all the haze came off and they looked beautiful!!

Neither is better than 63, and neither especially appeals to me.
