Looks more like a die chip. It's an interesting spot for a die chip though.

It may be a die chip but I'm leaning more towards damage.

It's not a doubled earlobe. Check the resources that @Tootallious linked to for things like that. I don't think it is a die chip, either. It may be damage, but it doesn't look quite right to me.

What it looks most like to me is a folded over lamination peel. There is a depression on the lobe that seems to fairly match the anomaly below it. I'm thinking it lifted and folded over in a southward direction.
