I have a 1964 D Lincoln Cent. I noticed lettering stamped across the obverse side. I could use some opinions . Should I get this graded?

That appears to be a lamination error from this angle, or strike on debris.

Edit: need to rotate picture and get close up in that area, and a reverse pic would help.

If I look close enough I can make out a letter B and an A

I think it is a lamination error.
You can see on the back of his neck where it has peeled back.
Not worth sending out to a TPG.

PS-
In the future, please crop and rotate your pictures
as per CCF instructions.
Also only one listing of each photo is required.

@coinman, first welcome to CCF. Second, thanks for adding a better pic to this thread. I agree with the others that this coin has a nice lamination (as opposed to having some sort of counter-punch). It might be worth a small premium over face value, but is nowhere near valuable enough to bother sending it in for slabbing. If it was mine, I'd keep it in a 2x2.

As mentioned, it is a nice lamination flaw on the coin.
