I have found this penny through coin roll hunting and I've noticed there's something odd on the mouth area especially on the lower lip. Though I am just a newbie, I could say this is not a PMD because of obvious reasons that maybe the experts will have a better explanations/opinions. In addition, who can you recommend to send this coin for examination. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like a hit to the mouth to me, so minor damage. Of note, it also looks to be a Cracked Skull because of what looks like a die crack on Lincoln's forehead.

First, thanks for your reply.
When you said it took a hit to the mouth, did you mean post mint damage?

Anyone who can give me more inputs? I can see doubling on the crease of the upper eyelid as well. Maybe other than being a Cracked Skull, maybe this one is a new error as Cracked Lips?

I don't think it's just PMD per se. Hope you can give me your expert opinions and theories on how this could have happened. Thank you.

A die crack would be raised, the mark on your coin looks incuse.

I think it is PMD also. One hit on the lower lip and one on the upper.
