Seems like this is positioned in an interesting place. Is it, in fact, a die dent or is it an unusual linear plating blister?

Linear plating bubble. No premium. That can happen on the fields as well as devices:

A die dent would make a raised mark on the coins devices, but the reality is; The raised areas on the die are deeper into the die. areas that are not affected by die dents, like on the bust of the coin. The areas that are affected are on the fields, not the deeper devices on the die.

Note on this image, the arrows pointing downwards to the rim area? That is how far below the fields of the die, that forms the rim on the outside of the coin. The fields is the outside part of the die. The devices are sunk into the die. Hope this helps?

The die is a negative of the coin. What does that mean? They areas that are raised on the coin, is sunk into the die. Just like the rims are raised above the fields, the rim is below the fields. Fields are the outside part of the die. any contact with the die affects the fields first. Such as Die scratches,

Some Feeder Finger Damage can affect even the devices, depending on how deep the damage is.
