Hello coin community!
So today I found a very striking quarter. It is a 1974 d. What caught my attention first was the condition, really amazing, edges are even still rough. you can see from the photos, it seems close to perfect.
the thing that caught my eye was what seemed to be a flame protruding from the left wing on the back of the coin. even more curious was the ability to see the same "flame" pattern on the front of the coin. it kind of looks like a pointy gotee on washington.
ok! anyone else think this is a super special coin?!!

That looks like a stain.

ok! thanks for responses. here is a picture of the back. sorry its a not so great picture. I'm new to this.
one response was that this is a stain, if a stain would the stain be on both sides in the same shape? seems slightly raised in the "flame"
any input is appreciated

I can't really tell what it is, since the picture is too small and blurry. My first guess was it being a stain, but I can't tell for sure what's going on.

Here is a clash overlay for a quarter:
1974-D-Quarter-Spitting-Eagle/Broken-Wing/-Flaming-Wing
1974-D-Quarter-Spitting-Eagle/Broken-Wing/-Flaming-Wing

It doesn't seem to match a clash outline. But the die may have been over polished a bit to make that area a different color. (Making it raised and reflecting the color away. But no premium for this though.
