Great find! Cuds like that are hard to find in circulation.

Thank you Tanman! I haven't found a good size Cud like that for a long time. I was surprised that it was in circulation, when I found it.

Thank you SilverDollar2017! It seems to be in excellent condition as well. It looks very close to being in MS condition.

Pretty sure it's CU-1C-1986-10 but always hard to compare two photos. Compare it in-hand to Cud 10 and I think you'll find a match.

Thank you tropicalbats, 11997755, and Bate! I'll see if it matches the one on COC's.
I looked on cuds-on-coins.com and it doesn't look the same, but close.

The Cud is actually bigger than it looks. The big dark shaded shadow area is actually part of the Cud as well. What do you think of it?

Thank you newcoin for checking my thread out! These can be found CRH, but it takes a lot of searching to find one.

I know you would. Keep searching through boxes, as there's some in circulation sometimes.

Excellent find! Newcoin, Cuds are a bit easier to find searching nickels than cents (because the dies used to make nickels tend to break faster than other coins), but they still show up more frequently on cents then they do on quarters, dimes, halves, and dollars.
