This guy has 6 PCGS listings and I'm certain that all of them, with the exception of the 1911 Dollar, are fake PCGS slabs.

If anyone has time and ability to body bag these please do so.

Why do you think that 1911 dollar isn't simply another pea in the pod, so to speak? A better quality and more deceptive fake might even be made from silver - but it's still a fake.

What's telling for me is that the seller's listing represents that he's shipping from Tucker, Georgia. His feedback profile states quite clearly that he's located in China. I see no reason to believe that anything he's hawking is genuine.

These should be reported to PCGS. That guy is a felon in my opinion.

Good job Bobby!

I am not sure who bid on these coins because they were TERRIBLE fakes and are designed to fool only the most novice of collectors. I mean some of those coins graded "MS63" were barely passable for AU.

Lucky Cuss, I was pretty sure that 1911 dollar was legit. Aside from looking exceptionally well and having correct details, the holder was proper too. I also pulled all of the certs on the PCGS website and compared all of the coins, the ones in the fake holders looked NOTHING like the originals. The 1911 was indeed the same coin.

Having said that, I do agree with your skepticism. I'd guess the seller didn't have this coin and was just using an image of the authentic piece he pulled from the web. Bidders would have most likely received a fake slab or some excuse. This could have just been the baiting piece used to attract attention to his other fake listings.
