I too am new here on this site and still learning my way around. I smiled when reading your post because, while I have my own collection of coins, right now I'm helping my brother organize his collection and I've been separating the coins to post and prior 1970. My own collection, with coins from lots of other countries, started almost 50 years ago when my grandmother brought back coins for me from her trip to Europe. I now have coins from almost 50 countries, organized in binders by continents. I hope you have fun with your new collection.

To CCF , The 1964 Dime was the last Dime to contain 90% silver for circulation . The 1943 steel cent was only produced one year for circulation as the U.S. military needed the copper for shell casings . they are zinc coated steel . Good luck with your new hobby .
