Here's a Parthian tet I won today, on a bid of less than a hundred dollars. Pretty good deal, imo. Sellwood and Shore listed this issue as struck by Tiridates, Assar as an "uncertain usurper," possibly Tiridates, who had temporarily wrested control from Phraates IV. The month, ΔAIΣI (May) is in exergue on the reverse, the year as expressed in the Seleucid Era, ΕΠΣ (27 BC), is in tiny letters under the seat of the throne. Mint = Seleucia on the Tigris. Sellwood 55.6, cf. Shore 308. Agora Auctions pic below. Coin will be en route soon. ETA = hammer time.  |

Paul, it's NGC certified/slabbed, but ungraded. Yep, it'll be freed upon arrival...as I stated, ETA = hammer time.
I've got several coins of Tiridates, but until now none of this variety, with this reverse. Happy to acquire it, and at a very fair price for the type.
