atrox001 Valued Member United States 311 Posts	Posted 11/01/2018 1:52 pm I believe your half dollar would be the 66 SMS DDO-009 in the CONECA Master Listings. I can see several markers in your photos that match the DDO-009 in my collection, see photos below. Two parallel die scratches north-south left of last 6 in date, die scratch south of middle of nostril, small die gouge south of beak of the 1 in date, and small gouge left of the lower G of GOD. So I'd wait till this is sorted out to know for sure what die number it is. Check out more information on the Wexler site: http://www.doubleddie.com/1141429.html Save them for now until they sites figure out what is what on them. If there is a several working hubs with die doubling, a lot of dies are being made with both. Die doubling and working hub doubling. Note the two listings on Wexler's site. They are a combo of WHD (Working-Hub-Doubling) and DDO (Doubled-Die-Obverses) from die creation. So stay tuned. Save what you have though. Report this Post to the Staff
