stoneman227 Pillar of the Community United States 2376 Posts	Posted 11/02/2018 11:40 am This coin was struck by a fairly early die state die , judging by the amount of re-engraving doubling that showes on the 4's of the date. With this die state the tail of the 9 in the date should end in a nice point and the outline of the 9 should be overall rather consistant. The tail of this 9 is wide and blunt as it terminates at the bottom which is an indicator of doubling for this date. The tail of the 9 is also wider than the spot I have indicated with arrows in my pic. Also an indicator of doubling. Then again I'm not an attributor, just what I'm seeing Report this Post to the Staff
