I found this 2007 D LMC and this cent appears to have a doubled eyelid. I found one just like it when I first started collecting error cents and before I joined this forum. Because I was so new at this I dismissed it and put it back into circulation. It is solid and not a plating issue and cannot be pushed flat. Thoughts please.

It looks like a plating bubble, It is quite a tiny area which is raise and perhaps that's why you were not able to pop it!

I use the little plastic toothpick on it and under the loupe I still couldn't push it flat.

David, in all fairness it very well could be. Again, I found one just like it earlier this year and dismissed it. I just can't flatten it out as it is solid.

jim, you always have an option of sending it in to Wexler or K.Potter for attribution if you are convinced it is a DD, they charge a very low fee.

Mr. Wexler has looked at a couple of my coins and is extremely reasonable.

Well if it is solid, it could be a die dent on that area? If it were a doubled eyelid, it would be a first. John Would probably be interested to check it out.
