I see a bit of wear on the crown band, some light circulation scratches and pitting and a small scratch behind the king's neck. The strike is a bit weak too, as evidenced in the lack of details in the kings hair, moustache and garb. In my experience, for a Newfoundland coin (which are graded much harder than Canadian coins by ICCS) to reach the EF status it needs to be very sharp and almost what you would consider AU. Otherwise it is a very nice coin with what might be some residual luster left in the legend.
