Another case of Machine Doubling. Note the direction the MD is coming? It is from bottom to top on the reverse. Just the opposite on the obverse side. Top to bottom direction. One to save an an educational piece on new collectors you run into. It looks like a very high bounce after the strike. If it were a doubled die, the chances of having both side doubled like this are unfathomable. Thus MD is what I see. (but it is very convincing) The devices are affected, but normal in size.

Thanks Mr. Coop the Reverse is very interesting on AMERICA. You can see all the splits right there "RICA". THe WE of the Observe just very close to 1982 1¢ WDDO-004.
