This came from an old collection of stuff that was passed down to my dad. I was also wondering if this is a genuine Coronet Head Cent? Also, is there any varieties for this year for doubled lips? If anyone can give me information, that would be great, as I don't know jack about Classic coins. The weight is 10.4 grams. I am not very smart in this area.

Looks genuine but pretty worn. Not an expert on the Newcomb varieties but some folks here do know how to attribute them. Neat find

Thank you very much for your input SilverDollar2017! Hopefully, I'll get more input from other members on here. Could it be just Machine Doubling?

The doubling is caused by the worn out screw presses used to strike these. The parts started becoming loose. When tightened they'd loosen again.

As mentioned the doubled lips are not a variety its the screw press version of Machine Doubling damage. The varity is N-2 on the the two small 8 varieties and it is an R-1 very common.

Yep, it's MD. I think Conder phrased it best:
