10 Junk morgans just sold on ebay... three 1893-O, and one 1893-P amongst regular non key dates. Sold for $202.26 . I bid at like 20 seconds, then someone sniped me at 7 seconds left. Even in cull shape, those four 1893's are well worth that cost, along with the other 6, for what, the cost of scrap morgans normally priced at $20 each?
Trust me, it happened to me the other day, had a $2000 coin that I bought through email for $420, then someone on ebay bought it for $550 before the person I bought it from could take it off.
It happens. You will just be ready for the next deal!
I don't understand why the seller didn't sell them separately? He seemed to be a coin dealer, and to combine 5 key dates and have the whole lot of 10 sell for 202.26 boggles my mind. Even for their bad shape, I bet he could have pulled at least $50 a coin for the keys.
