Large date. The small date has more of a curve (hook) from the 'neck' of the 2 and also rounds out at the base. The large date has a sharp downward angled line (like a slash mark: / ) from the neck to the base, at which point the base line goes backward very sharlply, not rounded like the small date.

The problem for most people is,you would need a side-by-side comparison of two coins a LG and a SD. I like using the "snowman" analogy, on a SD the top part of the 8 is smaller like the head of a snowman would be. I stated this sometime ago in another post.

The only way I finally figured it out is the small date 2 looks pregnant..lol It curves out like a little baby belly:)
