Hello, I have a penny that looks like a 1922 no d Wheat penny. I was wondering if I could get a few options and value. Thanks *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

Do you have any idea what this coin is worth?

I don't have enough knowledge to say whether it is legit or not, but if it is, it needs to be submitted to a major Third-Party Grader ( TPG). The potential value requires authentication, at least. Of course, wait for other knowledgeable members to view and respond before taking any action.

Excellent example. I recommend you send it to a Third Party Grading service for authentication and grading. It is a valuable coin, and I think when it's in a TPG holder you will be sure that it is authentic. The coin will also have a higher sale value in a TPG holder.

All the markers seem to be there for a legit 1922 "plain" strong reverse (die 2). The only even slightly suspect thing I can see is the shape of the first 2 in the date. Any chance you could get a clear close up of the date? Doesn't have to be microscopic, just a good in focus shot closer than what can be seen on the whole coin pic. ANd congrats on the coin, as it looks like a dandy.

If you do send it in to a TPG, keep us updated, when it comes back.
Errers and Varietys.

Thank you guys for helping me. I'll definitely send it off to be graded and let you know how it goes.

Date looks perfect as well. Second 2 is a bit stronger than the first 2 and has a slightly more rounded appearance to the inside of the upper loop. Nice.
