Nuremberg counter jeton, Wolff Laufer. I think the other side's legend is GOTES SEGEN MACHET RECHT, which, um, would mean God's something makes right or something? My German is a bit hazy.
Don't know enough about those to be sure of any more details (including the period); not even sure which particular Wolff Laufer it is (there were several).

It's an archaic form of German, which doesn't help. It's apparently quoting Proverbs 10:22 "God's blessings bring riches".
