This is a real low ball condition 1859 I think it come with a lot of large cent I won in an auction, I didn't have to much to do today so I decided to go through some 59's I put aside for later reviews.

This one I spent some time on and think it is a PC59-77a4 the obverse was fairly easy to find with that huge die crack down the front of the G in Gratia only one like is a Obv 77a, the reverse was a little harder its pretty worn out but I found 2 die cracks.

The first at leaf 3 I can just make out the crack staring at the dentical, the second one at leaf 11 I can make one out at the dentical, leaf 2 + 9 are there but hard to make out.
This is my detective work for today what are your thoughts

I agree. I don't doubt you've got it figured out papeldog, but I can't really tell from the photos.

Isn't it fun trying to attribute those worn out cents when you've got a little free time! It's good practice.

Its fun and passes the time with something a person enjoys like fishing I enjoy it about the same. I had to use a 16 power loupe to find the cracks, this would be a golf ball marker for Bill
