HI all... Found this in my change from Dunkin Donuts... I'm sure it isn't anything special (I don't have that kind of luck) but I sure will be keeping it in my container of nifty coins!

Looks to be EF/AU with (unfortunately) some oxidation issues. But congrats!

About-uncirculated. That's an extremely rare find for circulation

OH! So a better than average find? I sure was surprised when I looked at the date. I wonder if someone is spending someone's penny hoard... ;-)

That's a neat find. Looks AU like CoinFrog said. More valuable. Nice find!

Yes certainly coin be! Good for you, but bad for the prior owner.

NO ,you have to put that bad boy in a 2x2 holder .The condition of that coin found in the wild is indeed a rarity .

I wonder how many pennies are put (hoarded) away and when they will see the light of day. The zincolns will probably deteriorate. I still pull out my '82 and prior coppers...haven't seen a wheat in a while except when CRH.

Geesh... I need to learn a bit more about these things! I know stamps & ephemera, but not coins! Maybe for now I can seal it up in a glassine envelope or something...
