I seen this on another thread but the wife just got this at work. Can you tell me more about and value seems real nice except for the folds. Thanks

Nothing to really add other than this note looks almost exactly like another national banknote pictured in the most recent issue in Coin World, albeit a different bank.

WELCOME to the forum. You have a 1929 type 2 national bank note from Red Lion in York County PA. I am very familiar with this note since I am the president of the York Coin Club and collect York County PA national and obsolete notes. Your note has a Kelly book value of $200 in fine condition. I notice your note has some strong folds. Please don't store it folded. Did your wife get this in change?

No problem. As I stated above it list for $200. In 1929 you have type 1 and type 2 notes. The big difference is the type 1 notes have the charter number in large black numbers and the type 2 notes have the charter numbers in large black numbers and small brown numbers. This is the number 5184 in your note.
