Today I received a nice gift package from a good friend across the pond. Thanks Kev. I am able to ID all the other coins, but I have no clue when it comes to English Pennies. From what little I can read of the legend I think it might be Edward but that's just a guess. Any information would be appreciated. 19mm x 1.2g x 4h.

Henry III, short cross type, Canterbury mint, moneyer Ioan. Legends hENRICVS R-EX // +IOAN ON CANTE. The exact variety is a tough call due to condition but Class 7, I think, perhaps 7bA which would make it North 979 and Spink SCBC 1356B.

Nice one Ron!. As @Kushanshah said these are very addictive. I really enjoy the English hammered I have in my collection.

Wow, they ask good money for them on Vcoins. Don't buy them there Ron, I have a few kicking around you can have when they turn up.

They are not as often encountered for sale here in the US but those of us who enjoy them ensure that bidding is quite spirited when they do show up. :)
Great coin, Echizento!
