typically weak new orleans strike. a couple of hits in the cheek. they are faint but there. toning is colorful and beautiful. nice uninterrupted luster. solid ms64.

I'd like to see larger photos. My feel is this is an AU-58 "slider" coin but the small photo doesn't allow for a closer look at the surfaces. I might be wrong but can't call a firm grade on this one.

Here is a close up of the cheek area. The area does not show any circulation rub. As noted by Student, there are some minor marks on the cheek. In hand, I am at 64+. I never considered AU 58.

MS64. close enough to 65 that a TPG may push it, however due to the amount of missing luster on both sides I think it would receive a 64

Without reading the other comments, my first impression was AU-58.

Would need to have it in hand to really grade it.

Are you planning to send it in to PCGS or NGC?

I have no plans to send in the coin for grading.

My first thought was AU-58 as there appears to be slight wear in the hair.
