Hi,

I just acquired this coin and noticed that the mint mark is placed much further to the right than most coins. I searched for varieties, but could not find any.

Does somebody know more about this and cares to share their view?

Also grade please. It has a rim dent below the T in Ten and there is no luster left.

Thank you in advance.

EF-40. MM positions will vary due to hand-punching.

Thanks guys. I didn't know that the MM were hand-punched. Proper Monday-morning one in that case as it is so far of the standard place.

Aside from the grade I have to admit I've never seen a mint mark that far away from 'normal' for this date/denom. .... Interesting
